Meet the Founder

Sarah Jensen

Since I was a kid, I always knew I wanted to work with animals. I started at doggy daycares when I was 17, became a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College in 2009, volunteered at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, worked as a dog trainer and foster support specialist at another local rescue.

I dreamt of running my own rescue for years, but it never felt like the right time. After working with neonates, I realized why it never was right before; this was what I was meant to do. There are very few rescues who can take neonatal's who need bottle and tube feeding and Little Wonders is excited to join the group of rescues that do. Whether they are abandoned or born with a cleft, I want to save them.

At Little Wonders Animal Rescue, our vision is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for neonatal animals in need, ensuring they have the best chance at a happy and healthy life.
